RECS Energy Certificate Association (RECS) is dedicated to tackling climate change by accelerating the transition to 100% renewable energy systems. We do this by supporting the development of new energy attribute certificate (EAC) markets and strengthening those already in place. RECS collaborates with its members and other like-minded organisations to achieve these goals.

A record of success.
For well over a decade, the RECS Market Meeting has stood as a leading forum for renewable energy professionals. Each year, the event continues to grow, bringing together an increasing number of delegates, experts, and industry leaders from across the renewable energy sector. Following two remarkable years at the Beurs van Berlage and a long tradition of hosting in Amsterdam, RMM2026 will embark on a new chapter at the Prague Conference Centre in Prague, the Czech Republic. Along with a great new venue, this event will enjoy a new programme structure, new session styles, and new prospects for delegates and sponsors. The 2026 edition will challenge assumptions, inspire new thinking, and drive meaningful progress in how EACs can support consumer demand for renewables. Join us in Prague for insightful sessions, inspiring speakers, and unparalleled networking with professionals shaping the future of renewable energy. As Europe’s major supplier of GOs, Norway has long held a central role in the wider European system and market. In this session, expert speakers will share their insights into key questions. Delegates will hear views on whether Norwegian GOs will continue to offer a ‘benchmark’ price and whether Norway will continue to be an important source of liquidity. As in all sessions, delegates will have ample opportunity to ask their questions and voice their own thoughts.- Ann-Christin Austang | Fagansvarlig Sertifikater | Statnett SF
- Aron Simon | Managing Director | Cleanworld AS
- Mathijs Huls | Global Renewable Power Analyst - Environmental Commodities | STX Group
15:00 – 15:30 – Coffee Break
15:30 – 16:30 - Approaches to strengthen Norway's domestic GO market
While Norway’s role as a GO exporter often takes the spotlight, the domestic market for Norwegian GOs is also important. In this closing session, speakers will present a positive vision of how demand for GOs is growing among Norwegian consumers and consider how this demand can be boosted further. Could policies adopted elsewhere in Europe – such as full consumption disclosure and strict annual matching or monthly disclosure periods – be game changers? Norway has long led the way in maximising renewable energy use; now is the time to unlock the full potential of GOs at home as well.- Adam White | Secretary-General | RECS Energy Certificate Association
- Lars Ragnar Solberg | Principal Consultant | AFRY Management Consulting
