As of May 25 2018 the EU is implementing a data protection reform through the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR will bring several improvements to deal with data protection violations in the future.

Last month Nuon/Vattenfall has won a state tender for the first subsidy free offshore wind park. The construction is due to start in 2022.
