RECS International welcomes CEZ Group as member
RECS International is pleased to welcome a new member: CEZ Group.
Last month Nuon/Vattenfall has won a state tender for the first subsidy free offshore wind park. The construction is due to start in 2022. RECS International interviewed Esther Veldkamp of Vattenfall about this achievement and about the importance of the GO in financing the project, eliminating the need for subsidy. The CertifHy platform (see previous news on this here) has recently been progressing on further developing the GO Scheme, GO issuing, GO commercialisation and the regulatory framework.

Correction AIB statistics for 2017Q4
A corrected version of the 2017-Q4 statistics of the Association of Issuing Bodies AIB) is now available.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has recently re-opened the standard documents for reporting on greenhouse gas emissions (14064-1) and carbon footprint of products (14067). RECS International and its partners were concerned when in a draft version, leading up to the final documentation, the market based method for creating carbon inventories was being prohibited.
