The I-REC Standard Conference (ISC) is organized under the auspices of the International REC Standard Foundation, an internationally recognized body which facilitates standardized REC schemes around the world.
The ISC offers global I-REC market actors, facilitators, stakeholders, and governmental agencies the opportunity to meet each other and get up to date on the existing governance structure, upcoming Product Codes, and market developments and to share their thoughts, visions, and experiences with their peers from around the world.
The in-person conference will offer a range of sessions on the latest attribute tracking market information and practices around the world including developments of I-RECs for electricity as well as new and upcoming products, changing government policies, and industry perspectives.
Adam White, Secretary General of RECS, will be speaking at Keynote Session 8: The vision for EAC markets. This closing panel will bring high-level executives and government representatives together to discuss what is coming next, how clean energy markets are affecting foreign direct investment planning, and how countries across the region are reimaging a high-yield, low-carbon development future together.
