On Thursday 31 December the Association of Issuing Bodies and RECS International jointly organized the annual Open Markets Committee (OMC). It was a very successful meeting, attended by both members of RECS International (mainly market players) and national issuing bodies, regulators and others who work with the EECS Guarantee of Origin.
Obstacles and points of improvement were being discussed, as well as the future outlook for the Guarantee of Origin in light of other developments, such as blockchain developments and the upcoming Renewable Energy Directive (REDII).

On Friday 1 December, RECS International and its members held a general meeting, discussing financial status, current projects and the upcoming REC Market Meeting in 2018. The presentation of the general meeting can be downloaded here.
