The AIB has published the results of the calculation of Residual Mixes for the calendar year 2022. A country’s residual mix represents the electricity generation attributes available after explicit tracking systems, such as GOs, have been accounted for. The proportion of untracked electricity in AIB countries varies from 0% in Austria and Switzerland, thanks to their implementation of full disclosure, to 100% in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cyprus, and Montenegro.  

RECS supports the implementation of full consumption disclosure in all EU and AIB countries as this pre-supposes full production disclosure and allows greater consumer choice and more accurate tracking of what energy is being bought and sold.
