At Drax, our purpose is to enable a zero-carbon, lower cost energy future with an ambition to be carbon negative by 2030. One of the ways we plan to do this is by becoming the global leader in carbon removal technology, specifically bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS). BECCS by Drax will offer a permanent solution to lock away carbon dioxide, as well as complement organisations’ actions to decarbonise directly, and enable them to meet their net zero goals.
